About The Car[]

Pagani. A beautiful word...but why is it plastered on badges to then be mounted on Supercars and Hypercars? Well, Pagani, the Italian car manufacturer was founded by Horacio Pagani back in 1992. Since then, they have been producing a selection of elite Supercars and Hypercars and selling them to - very sensible if I may say so - millionares. The Pagani Zonda, being probably their most successful car. The 'F' model of which, probably being the best-selling of the many different shapes and forms of Zonda. It has a sleek, aerodynamic design, perposely produced to reach the highest possible speeds that one of these babies could ever do.

The 'F' model itself is a mid-engined, rear-wheel-drive car. Production for the Zonda started in 1999 (not the Zonda F) and it takes roughly a year to produce 10 cars, so, as of June 2009, only 106 of these had been built. You can just imagine the quality the car has to offer in the luxury of the interior and exterior and the performance itself. Checkout the stats further down the page to see how good this baby really is. Pagani are experts working with carbon-fibre and this is practically all the things are made from.

You must be dribbling down your shirt right now, and sit in awe as I describe the car to you...or I suppose you could just look at the thumbnail. Your choice. A sleek, aerodynamic finish with a carbon-fibre hood...carbon-fibre everything, really. A small, firm skirt mounted to the bottom of the car and 5 spoke/arm sport wheels. The rear-end, sees two sets of twin exhausts bundled and hugging together to spit as many flames at the car behind you as possible. By the way, they don't like people tailgating you and getting right up your arse so they're likely to hiss aswell. Made you dribble? If not, you have no passion for cars. What you may also be surprised to hear is that the Pagani Zonda F Clubsport lapped the Nurburgring in 7 minutes, 27.82 seconds which actually beat the Porsche Carrera GT. However, what you may be even more surprised to hear is that the 2009 model of the Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 beat the lap time of the Zonda on the 7th June 2008 by a fraction of a margin at 7 minutes, 26.4 seconds, just that little bit faster.
